GILLIGAN Edward Lindsay “Ted”

Passed away peacefully at the MCH, in his 89th year. Much loved and cherished husband of Rayma for 60 years. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Daniel and June, Bronwyn and Michael Febey, Rosanne and Adrian Jones, Fiona and Alan Jennison. Loved grandfather of Meagan, Alex, Ashley, Ella, Rhianne, Isaac, Lucy, and Luke. Loved great grandfather of Zachary, Kobe, Lucas, Elsie, Oliver, Peyton, and Levi. Loved son of the late John and Bertha. Loved brother of Mervyn (dec.), Kathleen, and Margaret.

Heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at the MCH for their kindness and care, especially the Close Observation Unit.

Family and friends of Mr Edward “Ted” Gilligan are warmly invited to attend his funeral to be held at Mersey Gardens Chapel and Crematorium, 20-24 Stony Rise Road, Devonport on MONDAY, February 11, 2019 at 1.30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Tasmania would be appreciated and may be made at the service.
