Lisa PowerGeneral Manager
As General Manager of Pinegrove Funerals and Mersey Gardens Chapel and Crematorium, Lisa leads our team of Funeral Directors and team members in the Devonport region.
Lisa started in the funeral industry in 2009. She has worked in customer service related roles for all of her working career. Lisa began her journey as a funeral director a week after her own personal loss of a family member and understands the importance of taking the time to listen to people’s needs and guide them gently when they are dealing with grief. Lisa was offered the role as the General Manager of Pinegrove Funerals in 2016 and takes great pride in working in the funeral industry and sharing her knowledge with the team in Devonport.
Vanessa has been in the funeral industry since 2009. Vanessa enjoys very much being a part of the team here at Pinegrove Funerals. Like her colleagues she feels it a privilege to support families through such a difficult time in their lives. Vanessa likes to be creative and enjoys bringing together a service that brings out personality and character and leaves the family with a lasting memory of a beautiful life. Recently Vanessa has moved into the office administration role and she is usually the first person you speak with.
Caleb has been working in the funeral industry in this area since 2002 and became a valued member of the Pinegrove team in September 2011. Caleb has a passion for assisting families through the tough time of the loss of their loved one and giving them the upmost best care possible. He feels privileged on a daily basis to be able to assist in saying farewell to the lovely people of Devonport and surrounds. Caleb lives in Devonport.
Darren has been working in the funeral services industry for many years, and finds it very rewarding when assisting families to create a memorable service for their loved one. At Pinegrove Funerals Darren helps to create funeral services as individual and special as the people he is entrusted with. Darren was born on the NW Coast and raised in Ulverstone, and still lives there with his wife and young family.
Jeremy has worked in the funeral industry since 2015 and he has found it to be one of the most rewarding careers; being able to help families create that special farewell for their loved ones.
Jeremy moved to Devonport in 2000 to be closer to his family.
Nicole has been working in the funeral industry since 2015. It is a rewarding position and Nicole feels honoured to be able to assist families through an extremely difficult time in their lives. Nicole believes that nothing a family requests is a problem, she knows that going the extra mile is what makes the farewell for your loved one memorable. Nicole feels her job is to serve her families and help them think of the things, that you may not be able to, when your mind is clouded with grief.
Rebecca has been with Pinegrove Funerals since 2009. Rebecca was initially employed to assist individuals through the process of pre-paying or pre-arranging funeral services. Her role also now consists of general office duties. Rebecca and her husband Rick have two gorgeous boys, and as she needed to achieve a work/family balance she is now a part of the team for two days a week. She enjoy spending quality family time with Rick and her boys at every possible opportunity, whether it be having cuddles on the lounge, going for picnics or out on the boat, gardening, or socialising with other family or friends.
Rick has been in the industry since 2009. Rick began working at Pinegrove Funerals as one of our funeral assistants and mortuary attendant, moving forward to also becoming the cremator operator. Rick and his wife Rebecca together have two gorgeous boys. Rick enjoys spending quality time together with is family at every possible opportunity, whether it be having cuddles on the lounge, going for picnics or out on the boat, gardening, or socialising with other family or friends.
