Peter Charles Gaffney

Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle in the presence of his loving family. Much loved husband of Glenys for 46 years. Loved and loving father of Carmen and Mat. Beloved son of the late Charles and Betty Gaffney. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Wayne and Debbie, Christine and Rodney, Charlie and Leanne, Helen and Greg. Loved brother-in-law of Beris (dec.), Denise, Grenville and Tracey, Kelvin and Dianne, Leonie and Toni. Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

Through tears we watched you suffer,
we watched you fade away.
Our hearts were slowly breaking
as you fought so hard to stay.
When the fight had left you weary,
you had to take your leave.
We’ll always love you dearly,
and our hearts will always grieve.

Family and friends of Mr Peter Charles Gaffney are warmly invited to attend his funeral to be held at Mersey Gardens Chapel and Crematorium, 20-24 Stony Rise Road, Devonport on THURSDAY, February 13, 2020 at 1.30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to MND Australia would be appreciated and may be made at the service.
