Geoffrey Gordon Woods

Passed away peacefully at Coroneagh Park. Dearly loved and loving husband of the late Lorna Betty (nee Hennessey) – together again. Loved and loving father and father-in-law of Warren and Barbara, Maureen and Tom Howe, Richard and Sue, Marilyn and Bruce Irving. Much loved grandfather of nine and great grandfather to 21.

Son of the late Leslie James and May Elizabeth Woods (nee Glover). Brother and brother-in-law of Margaret and Arnold Symes, Lorna and Lin French, Les and Shirla (all dec.), Donald and Josie, Fred and Ivy (both dec.) , Vonda (dec.), Ian (dec.) and Marie, Garry, and Joy.

Geoff’s family was his world and he will be loved and missed.

Loved and loving father, father-in-law, grandfather (Gar-Gar) and great grand-dad to our 7 little ones. Maureen and Tom; Alicia and Andrew Michajlow, Meegan and Ben Muir, Stuart and Melissa Chellis. Dancing once again in the arms of Mum. Loved by all who knew him.

Beloved father and best mate of Richard and Sue. Much loved grandfather of Geoffrey and Natalie Woods, Emily Woods, Linda and Neil Richardson. Great grandfather to Harvey and Lucille Woods, Angus Burton, Roland and Spencer Smith, William and Ivy Richardson.

Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Marilyn and Bruce Irving. Grandfather to James and Tash, Cian and Ashely, Holly and Josh Willie. Great grandfather to Isabelle, Bailey, Koda, and Ella; Cruz and Jack; Alfie and Ted.

Family and friends of Mr Geoffrey Gordon Woods are warmly invited to attend his funeral to be held at St Mary’s Catholic Church, 9 Braddon Street, Penguin, on FRIDAY, 22nd November, 2019 at 1.30 p.m., after which interment will follow at Central Coast Memorial Park, South Road, Ulverstone.
